“B” careful! Have you been taking your Vitamin B supplements the wrong way?
New research suggests that too much vitamin B, also known as niacin, may be linked to an increased risk of heart disease. The study found that excess vitamin B breaks down into a compound called 4PY. High levels of 4PY in the blood are associated with vascular inflammation and damage to blood vessels. Consequently, increasing the risk of stroke, heart attack, and other major adverse cardiovascular events.
So remember! More isn't always Better! Vitamin B needs moderation to avoid heart risks. If you have adequate levels in your body, it may not offer additional health benefits and could even be detrimental.
A simple blood test can tell you if you need that B boost. Check your levels and be mindful with your supplementation. Stay “B”-alanced!
